🎓 Think Like Sherlock
Most courses about Sherlock Holmes tell you what he did. This one trains you to do it. Seven cases, taken in order, each drilling one faculty of the method — with missions in real tools, XP toward real ranks, and a before-and-after measurement of how you see the world.
How the campaign works
🎯 Missions, not lectures
Every case sets concrete missions inside the site's tools and games — scores to beat, streaks to hold, drills to run in your real life. Each mission states its measure, so "done" is never a feeling.
📈 XP and ranks
Missions pay 15 XP; examinations pay up to 50. Your rank climbs from Constable through Inspector and Irregular to Consulting Detective. Cases unlock strictly in order — the method is cumulative.
🎓 Holmes grades you
Each case ends with an optional examination: scenario questions answered in your own words, graded 0–100 with feedback by AI in Holmes's voice — your strongest point and the weakness worth practising.
⚖️ The measured upgrade
At enrollment you rate yourself on six axes — observation, memory, reasoning, skepticism, defense, clarity. At graduation you rate yourself again. The difference is the point: not a vibe, a number.
The seven cases
👁️ Case I — The Eye Observation
Stop seeing and start observing. Structured noticing drills, graded stranger-reading in The Science of Deduction, a Daily Stranger streak, and the room test — including the two details that are absent.
🏛️ Case II — The Attic Memory
Furnish the brain-attic deliberately. Build memory palaces with Mycroft and on the full-screen canvas, survive the Oral Examination, and prove the recall cold, a day later, before breakfast.
🔗 Case III — The Leap Deduction & Abduction
Reason backwards from evidence to explanation. Full cases on the Deduction Board, chain drills where every link is graded certain, probable, or guess — because the leap that feels certain is merely vivid.
✂️ Case IV — The Razor Elimination
Eliminate the impossible — honestly. Run a real stubborn problem through the engine, let the Devil's Advocate attack your elimination, and hunt the assumptions hiding in your "facts".
📐 Case V — The Pattern Induction & Chronology
Earn general rules from counted instances. Induce rules from your own recurring data, test your hunches, timeline a tangled narrative, and spend a day hunting the black swan that would break a rule you live by.
🛡️ Case VI — The Shield Defense
The finishing school: dismantle persuasion aimed at you. Map real arguments in Moriarty's Web, catch Lestrade's liar without a hint, keep a fallacy diary — and turn the web on one of your own arguments.
🎩 Case VII — The Method Entire Integration
Run the whole method, end to end, on one genuinely unresolved situation in your life — observe, timeline, eliminate, act — then write the five rules of your new worldview and take the final assessment.
